Lisa Knightly (Thursday evenings) and Nikki Fitzgerald (Wednesday Evenings) teach pregnancy yoga classes at MAMA Inc. Yoga provides an opportunity to develop greater vitality and awareness of your body that is home for two, as well as to deepen your relationship with your baby.

These classes are suitable for beginners as well as those who already practice yoga.

The classes include the practice of yoga asanas or postures, breathing, visualization, vocal toning and relaxation to cultivate health, strength and flexibility during pregnancy and promote calmness and confidence in preparation for labour and childbirth. The regular practice of yoga during pregnancy helps women prepare physically and mentally for an active and natural birth and increase the joy of giving birth.
